From time to time, I get the wonderful honor and invitation to participate in a larger conversation happening in the world.
One of those revolves around a topic asked by TIME Magazine: What did Jesus ask?
The Only Time You’ll Ever Find God in a Box
Here’s an oldie but a goodie. Back in 2013, William Paul Young gave a terrific talk at Max Lucado’s Oak Hills Church where he discussed the kinds of questions you’re not supposed to ask about God.
As you may have heard, The Shack is being turned into a movie starring Avatar’s Sam Worthington and The Help‘s Octavia Spencer. We’ll keep you up to date here as the movie continues to develop. In the meantime, please purchase William Paul Young’s new book Eve, right here: https://wmpaulyoung.com/eve-book/.

Are Men and Women’s Hearts Really That Different?
A few weeks ago, I invited you to ask me questions about, well, about anything you wanted! It’s a good opportunity to hear from you and what’s going on in your hearts.
Today, I thought I’d answer a question from Russ, who asked about the research behind Eve and the disciplines needed to get into the “female heart, soul and psyche.” He asks: “Did you do interviews with the ladies in your family? Or do you expand into other aspects of striving towards understanding?”
If you’ve read Eve, you know the feminine perspective courses throughout the book, so an understanding the female soul was a significant part of the writing process. But then, I think we sometimes overstate just how different the heart of a woman is from the heart of a man. Here’s what I mean:
After a wonderful week wending my way from Bethlehem, PA, through Lynchburg, VA and into N. Carolina (Raleigh and Charlotte), I am home doing chores before I hit the road again Thursday. Here are some of the places I will be the next days.
You who call the great state of Texas home, I hope you’ll stop by this Thursday, Oct 1, 7PM with my friends at LifeAustin Church: https://wmpaulyoung.com/event/eve-author-speaking-event-and-book-signing/
The next day, I’ll be signing and giving out hugs in Fort Worth, at Barnes & Noble: https://wmpaulyoung.com/event/eve-book-signing-and-author-q-a-2/
